St. Rose Parish in Latrobe, PA is currently seeking an organist.  Our ideal candidate is someone who is located within 20 miles of Latrobe, Pennsylvania, who can reliably provide organ and piano services and is a member of the Catholic Church. 

The candidate will provide organ and piano music for worship services, which consist of Saturday and Sunday Masses; Christmas, Holy Week, and Easter Masses, Holy Days of Obligation; and other Catholic Church functions including weddings and funerals if needed. The organist must be willing to cantor at a Mass if a cantor from the congregation is not available.

The candidate should be able to display a professional level of musical talent from training and experience. Have a thorough working knowledge of the Church’s worship services and a theological understanding of Church music. The Organist must be able to communicate well and in a friendly manner with the pastor, fill-in clergy, fellow employees, church choir, church committees, parish councils and members of the congregation. A degree in organ/music is preferred but not required.
